Once, it was considered a luxury to own a cell phone. Then it was unusual to have a cell phone with a colored screen. Eventually almost all cell phone users switched over to the colored phones and it was more of a luxury to have a cell phone with a camera or a music player. Little by little each of these features and applications were added to the standard phone. Now, it will not be unusual for a cell phone to have GPS as well. There won’t be much of a need for external GPS devices any longer.
