Google has created Friend Connect, which is a program that will be able to be added to any site and will transform it into a social networking site. By adding a feature to one’s site that allows its users to chat with each other, the site becomes a mini FaceBook. There will be many applications similar to those on FaceBook that can be added to anyone’s site as well.

This new Program will be tried out on a few sites, and once there is positive feedback, it will be available for any site that is interested in it.
