Just as with a short film, slide shows must be able to hold the interest of your viewer throughout the entire show. In order for you to do this, try to show as much variety in your photographs as you can. Avoid visual redundancy. Also, organize your photos into a time line. This will work great especially when you have just traveled to multiple destinations. Don't mix up trips from day 4 with those from day 7 so you don't mess up the context. Use interesting visual transitions. They break up the monotony of the photographs. Transitions also allow the eye to blend images with each other, thereby creating the illusion of animation. Lastly, put in an appropriate music track. Music serves to create the mood of the slide show. Choose something that will be appropriate for your images.
