FaceBook has become the number two social networking site across the globe. The site is used by the young and old alike and as a result certain precautions need to be taken in order to keep the young users protected. That is why forty nine states have participated in the decision to add special safeguards to FaceBook. These safeguards are in order to ban sex offenders from the site and to prevent comments and images that suggest incest or pedophilia from being posted on the site.
