There are always two sides to the coin. With the good always comes the bad and the other way around. The question always is, to what extent? Colloidal silver has been known to be nature’s antibiotic. There have been said to be many positive aspects to colloidal silver. Recently, however, there has been a story of a man who has turned blue. It has been said that this is a result of him taking colloidal silver. People are calling this Blue Man a fraud.
The question is; did colloidal silver turn this man blue? There are certain facts though that were not mentioned in the media such as the fact that this man made his own home made compound of silver using mainly ionic silver, which is not colloidal silver. He also added salt and lay on a tanning bed. He had a medical condition called argyria, which turns the skin a bluish-grayish color. Although this man may have been trying to take colloidal silver, which is what is beneficial for a person, he in fact did not do so. One cannot make colloidal silver at home. He did something harmful to himself and this was misinterpreted and so passed on to the public.
