Most people who don’t spend much time on the computer or writing emails don’t necessarily know that there is etiquette for writing online. Part of what this entails is not writing in capital letters. Capital letters signifies shouting, or speaking loudly to emphasize something. If you write only in capital letters someone will understand it as you yelling at them and they may get offended.
