There have been many changes in technology over the past decade that have affected are lives in many ways. Cell phones and fast Internet connections have made life much easier. Another revolutionary concept is VOIP. Being able to make phone calls through the Internet allows one to save hundreds on phone bills. Once making long distance phone calls was a big deal. Now most people don’t think twice before calling overseas. However, VOIP has downsides too. If the Internet connection is down, or the electricity for that matter, making phone calls is not possible.
