Players continue to compete with the current product line-up with some being observed as becoming considerably more aggressive with the introduction of low-cost solutions. Some have opted to bring their rich multimedia products towards the high end.

Mobile phones will remain to be in demand whatever social class a person may be in. Having one has become a necessity and no longer a luxury. High end consumers continue to display their status by brandishing equally high end products. However, they no longer hold the monopoly of owning such products as more and more opportunities are provided to give the purchasing power to the not so moneyed class.
