Broadband Speed Not Priority?

The US may be considered as a superpower and the rest of the world may envy most of the technological gizmos that come from the country. But it does not necessarily mean that the US is always leading the pack in all things technological. A recent study made by the Communications Workers of America revealed that the United States is actually beginning to trail the rest of the world when it comes to broadband speed.

According to the CWA US visitors who tested their broadband connection at speedmatters.org discovered that their average broadband speed was actually slower than those posted in Asia or Europe. The study is quite telling in that it looks like providing speedy broadband access is not top priority in the US compared to other countries in the world.
