The Vista experience has been marred by missing drivers, incompatible applications, high hardware requirements and slow performance. With Vista Service Pack 1 officially announced by the Company (though it’s still in private beta testing), users are hoping that this update will address most, if not all of their issues with Microsoft’s current Operating system. Windows Vista Service Pack 1 involves changes in the Desktop search feature, allowing users to easily change the default desktop search engine. It also features a plethora of back-end updates, ones that though may not add another shiny new thing on your desktop, will on the other hand Vista’s overall stability and performance.
