Buying a car without having the opportunity to drive it and have a feel of it is like buying it based on its photograph. Test driving will more or less provide a glimpse on the car’s condition. Try to test on it on a terrain that you often use such as city driving on both stop-and-go traffic and freeway speeds. Likewise, try it over bumps and tight corners while testing its brakes. Do these on a safe location such as an empty parking lot.
It is quite alright to go in and out of the car several times and alternately sit in front or at the back to also have a feel of being the car’s passenger. A car is a big investment that is not so forgiving of mistakes. It is pure torture to regularly pay for several years just to own a lemon.
