Samsung’s Armani Phone Will Feature a Haptic Feedback UI

The sudden rise in popularity of full-screen phone form factor can be attributed in Apple’s flagship phone product, the iPhone, but don’t expect mobile veterans to just stand in the corner. Increasing the ante of the competition, Samsung in joint collaboration with Armani will be delivering a touch phone that features a user interface with haptic feedback – when a user touches objects on the user interface, they will feel an immediate mild vibration feedback. The lack of any tactile feedback has been one of the concerns with the iPhone (although it didn’t really discouraged consumers from getting the iPhone), and it seems that Samsung to be taking this as an opportunity to steal the thunder from the Apple mobile phone.
