It is understandable when tech enthusiasts go gaga over the latest gadgets and end up buying a much anticipated gadget the first day or at least first week it is released. However, just like the iPhone showed everyone, it doesn't always pay to be the first on the line. When buying the latest gadgets it is often wiser to wait for a certain period of time before going on a buying spree. Wait until the price has dropped significantly but before the new model is out. Aside from price another advantage would be that by waiting most of the bugs will have shown up and corrective measures will be in place.
