GNOME 2.20 Released

The latest version of GNOME, GNOME 2.20, has been released. According to the release notes the most notable improvements in this version include: “better support for right-to-left languages; an integrated desktop search in the file chooser dialog; new features in the Evolution email and calendar client; enhanced browsing of image collections; simplified system preferences; efficient power management and more accurate laptop battery monitoring.” Although the latest version offers nothing revolutionary the overall improvement is desktop experience and greater simplicity will make GNOME users happy as well as make it easier for those who want to transition to Linux to do so.
