With so many models and so many features, it’s easy to get confused out there. Here are some things to consider before making that purchase:
Processor. Most laptops dazzle you with super-fast processors. But do you really need one that runs like the speed of light? Unless you’re planning to use your laptop to run heavy files of graphics or intensive applications like video games then you won’t be needing super-speed.
Drives. Lightweight and small do not automatically equate to convenience in a laptop. Usually it means that everything else would be accessible through an external drive – your DVD player or CD-writer/recorder. If you tend to move around or travel frequently this could be more of a nuisance.
Price. So you were able to find a laptop at the lowest price possible. But take a second look at the features and inclusions. Many packages would not carry operating software or the necessary programs you would be needing, so be prepared to pay extra for this.
