Most movies have to go through the cycle of crowd acceptance and critic ratings in order to make it to the hit list. But some make it to the top of the hype even before they are released simply because of the name that is behind the film. This is definitely the case with Rob Zombie’s new film Halloween the movie that is scheduled for release at the end of August.

If you have not heard of the movie, surely you are not a true horror film fan (it’s alright, nobody’s perfect… ). But the real story behind the movie which is a remake of a 1978 classic by the same name is the director that is brining this classic back to life. That name is Rob Cummings, or as he is better known among fans as Rob Zombie.

Fans of the original movie are anticipating the release and are anxious to see what angle Rob Zombie takes on it. Personally, I think we are all in for a surprise as Rob Zombie will take this classic and give it a modern style in the spirit of recent year hits such as Ring (my all time favorite) and Saw. Whatever may be, I already know where I’ll be on August 31 and am counting the days for Halloween the movie to come out. In the meantime, you can enjoy the trailer below.
