Bringing Games back Online

You know, there is a lot of irony with the way we use the internet today. On the one hand, we have gotten accustomed to purchasing just about everything online. People now order anything from their groceries to electronics, travel reservations and so much more online. The digital world has brought physical items so much closer. But on the other hand, the most digital item of all – computer software is still mostly sold on physical media such as CD’s and DVD’s. And since the vast majority of our software is sold by the large computer chains, most of the software in use is limited to the larger mainstream products.

But there are so many gems out there that just don’t get the exposure and shelf space that the larger companies do and they tend to get overlooked. This is a shame since software should be the easiest thing to distribute and there is so much room for smaller players to make their mark. One real gem in the gaming industry is the software company Midori. They make computer games for both PC’s and Macs which can be purchased and downloaded directly from their website at midoritech.com.

Good mac games are usually pretty hard to come by but Midori does a great job with a cool version of mac solitaire, Yoodoo, Ladybugs, mahjong and more.
