Microsoft PCs to be distributed in India

We all know that Microsoft is very desperate to get into the very lucrative hardware market (just look at the xbox 360 and the Zune). It seems that, as far as India goes, Microsoft may get a small foothold on the market (and maybe use the experience to finetune their own strategies for getting into the market).

The company recently announced that they will be partnering with AMD and Zenith Computers in coming out with a low cost personal computer in India. The computer will have a price of 21,000 rupees and will be available in 10 retail stores for three months as a test. Expansion will be undertaken based on the initial response to the product.

Alienware to release dual graphics cards laptop

Alienware PCs are one of the most admired gaming systems on earth. I have yet to meet a gamer who has not drooled over the impressive specs of Alienware products and dreamt of having one. The company has recently pushed laptop gaming to a new level with the announcement that it will be releasing a 17 inch laptop that is touted to be the first to partner both Nvidia SLI technology as well as Intel Core 2 Duo processors.

This is great news for laptop gamers who envy the power of desktop gaming PCs but still prefer the portability of laptops. Alienware’s new product is surely the best of both worlds and another addition to the products that we will surely drool over.
